Many times SmallToGo gets questions about TatukGIS. So to give you an answer I have listed some of the most commonly asked questions here.

  1. Is TatukGIS a reliable company?
    Yes. TatukGIS is founded in 2000 and has sold many thousands of licences of their products. Thousands of customers use a solution based on the development kit or have the Editor. TatukGIS has created a very good base to build on.

  2. Are the products growing in functionality?
    TatukGIS constantly works on improving their products and adding new functionality. TatukGIS listens good to the customers. New version of products frequently come out so you can quickly have the benefits of new functionality.

  3. How can the editor be so cheap?
    TatukGIS' business model is setup around the development kits. The editor is a functional example based on the DK.VCL development kit. Because the main work lays in maintaining the development kit and partly in the skin of the editor, they can keep the costs low.
    Furthermore TatukGIS has low overhead costs. No offices of millions of euros and not 100 employees.

  4. How fast are problems in the products solved?
    At this moment TatukGIS is able to solve problems in a very short time. Usually they try to release new versions each month. So your problem will be available very fast.

  5. How is the support of TatukGIS?
    TatukGIS works with a ticket system. You report, they receive and you receive a ticket number as a reference to the bug report.
    If additional information is needed, TatukGIS will ask for that usually within 2 days but often faster.

  6. Does TatukGIS give local support?
