Functies

Using a plugin elements can be placed and maintained. With the plugin there is a better control over the drawing order which is an essential issue in this module.
The plotmodule has the following layout elements:
- viewport hole element
- border element
- buffer element
Viewport hole element:
- one or more holes can be created to serve as an overlay on the viewport.
- trail can be used as temporary hole
- a buffer can be drawn around the holes to make it even fancier.
- holes can be transparent
Border element:
- geometries overlapping the border of a hole are cut off by default. This element redraws the selected geometries again. Labels crossing the hole are shown correctly again.
Buffer element:
- automatic buffering of selected geometries.
- select buffersize and colour
- buffering can be done strictly inside. this feature is used in combination with the holes.
- with predicates even a much better buffering can be realised.
The plot templates are setup using the standard Smallworld editors for layout elements.
Saving the template is done in the standard way of Smallworld in XML.
All necessary information is stored in the XML.
Some elements coming up:
- reference elements like indicators in the map and listed in a table.
- filter element to clean up messy maps.
These elements will than be provided as extra elements for customers who once bought the module.
